Blank Interiors’ latest home renovation project in Salou completely transformed a property, redefining its layout and aesthetics to reflect a contemporary and functional vision. The renovation aimed to depart from the previous layout, characterized by small rooms, and instead, it opted for a design of fluid spaces within the same area, separated by furniture and wooden slats.
The custom-designed furniture for this project by the interior design studio, tailored to the residents’ needs, stands out with its predominant use of oak wood, adding a Nordic touch that appeals especially to the homeowners.
Within this furniture, a separator element between the entrance hall and the living room stands out. This element combines an opaque part with cabinets and another part that allows glimpses of the living room area, adding a touch of mystery and sophistication. The dining table also became the central core of the daytime area, providing an intimate and cozy atmosphere to the living room.
In the kitchen, an island was designed around one of the exposed concrete pillars, creating a striking contrast with the Nordic style achieved through the elegant combination of materials.
In the master bedroom, a wooden paneling was chosen, incorporating smooth panels and vertical slats, creating a visual rhythm throughout the space. The closets blended with the walls, significantly enhancing the sense of spaciousness rather than having a separate dressing room.
As for the bathroom amenities, there was no need to choose between a bathtub and a shower, as both were harmoniously integrated. This decision offers flexibility in daily life while optimizing space utilization. The combination of these elements provides a creative canvas for bathroom planning, creating a more spacious and functional environment.
The neutral color palette, along with the wooden bathroom details, evokes a sense of serenity, accentuated by the elegant presence of black accessories. The double Nilo sink vanity becomes an ideal option for shared bathrooms, infusing a touch of luxury and contemporaneity into the space.
This renovation project in Salou is a masterful example of how an innovative vision and meticulous attention to detail can transform a residence into a space of elegance.
