Somos Estupendas has positioned itself as the leading platform in Spain in the field of mental health and well-being. Since 2020, the organization has been dedicated to spreading knowledge about mental health through social media, offering online workshops and therapies. Recently, in collaboration with Jennifer García Studio, they have opened their first physical center in the heart of Barcelona.
As it is their first physical center, they have focused on creating a corporate image that reflects the principles and values of the brand in the interior design. The main goal has been to create a space that provides tranquility and serenity, allowing patients to completely disconnect from their daily routine and connect with themselves. This has been achieved by creating a cozy and peaceful environment, using subtle forms, colors, and materials, with a neutral color palette.
Initially, the place had a dark atmosphere with large interconnected rooms. One of the main challenges for the interior designer was to divide the space into two distinct areas: an office area and an area dedicated to therapies.
With a surface area of 230m2, the center features six individual and/or couples’ rooms, as well as a group room, all designed to accommodate different types of therapies. In the working area, a relaxation zone has been included with an office space, two meeting rooms, and two soundproof booths for recordings and calls, equipped with roller blinds that ensure complete privacy.
Furthermore, a spacious work area has been created with original wooden paneling, treated and lacquered in a neutral tone. For added versatility, a nearly 5-meter long rectangular table has been incorporated, accompanied by planters and four tables with detachable wheels. This allows for adjusting and optimizing the space as needed.
The essence of all the rooms has been maintained in the bathrooms, and the Castellón washbasin model has been chosen. With its simplicity, it fits perfectly with all the decorative details of the space.
Somos Estupendas is a space designed to promote communication and connection with patients, and it has successfully achieved its goal.
